Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of the top athletes in sports. Being the only U.S. female gymnast, Biles was one of the few to achieve four golds in one Games at the 2016 Olympics. Biles was the only person to have three consecutive world championships. Biles lived in Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where she and her younger sister Adria were adopted by their parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone started to develop an interest in gymnastics when she was a six-year-old in a school field trip at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach over the following eleven years. Biles was awarded gold and bronze medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault before her debut in 2011 at the top category of gymnastics competition. Two years after that, Biles dominated the sport. Biles stood out because of her unstoppable performance enthusiastic attitude as well as the amount of challenge she made in each event--vault bars that were uneven, balance beam and ground exercises.
