Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the star of Fox's House medical series. Growing up in Wayne with a strict Jewish tradition, she moved to New York City at the age of 18 to pursue studies in acting at the Tisch School of Arts. Soon after, she was involved in club culture, causing enough fuss that she caught the attention of the media. Then she used her experience as well her fame to compose and write an original musical entitled Positive Me and was also in the show. Soon after she was employed by MTV to be the host of Awake On The Wild Side. Following the end of the series, she started appearing in films and television productions initially in smaller parts, but gradually establishing her acting career.
